CartCubes Toolbox for FluentCart

Checkout

Fine-tune checkout without custom code, hide payment methods by cart type, reload when the cart changes, apply a coupon from a URL, and set a minimum order amount.

Fine-tune checkout without custom code: extra CSS classes, a place-order button label, coupon placeholder, notice banner, max quantity per item, default billing country, always-on order notes, hide billing fields on zero-total checkouts, store Stripe cards on subscriptions only and preserve campaign attribution across domains.

How to configure

  1. Open FluentCart, then Toolbox, then Tools.
  2. Open Checkout.
  3. Turn on the options you need, fill in their fields, then save.

Settings

Custom Place Order Button Text
Replaces the default checkout submit label. Button Text is the label shoppers see, such as Complete Purchase.
Checkout Notice Banner
Shows a message at the top of the checkout form. Set the notice type and the notice message.
Max Quantity Per Item
Caps how many units of a single item a customer can add. Set Maximum Quantity to 0 to turn the cap off.
Custom Coupon Placeholder
Changes the placeholder inside the coupon code field.
Always Show Order Notes
Shows the order notes field even when the cart contains only digital products.
Default Billing Country
Pre-selects a billing country when none is detected. Use a 2-letter code such as US, GB, or DE.
Enable Checkout Layout Classes
Adds your class names to the FluentCart checkout wrapper so a theme or builder can style it. Separate classes with spaces.
Hide Billing Fields on Zero-Total Checkouts
Hides billing-address fields when no payment is due. Paid checkouts stay unchanged.
Store Stripe Cards on Subscriptions Only
Asks Stripe to keep the card on file only when checkout includes a subscription. One-time payments do not store the card.
Preserve Campaign Attribution Across Domains
Treats the hostnames you list as your own store network so campaign source is not lost between sites. One hostname per line. Include the checkout site. Matching covers the bare domain, www, and subdomains.

Hide Payment Methods by Cart Type

Hide selected payment methods by cart type. Hide Cash on Delivery on digital-only (download) checkouts, or hide methods on physical carts. Place order uses the same rule, so a hidden method cannot be posted.

How to configure

  1. Open FluentCart, then Toolbox, then Tools, then Checkout.
  2. Find Hide Payment Methods by Cart Type.
  3. Choose the cart type, check the methods to hide, then save.

Settings

Apply To
Digital-Only Carts have no shippable items, such as downloads. Physical Carts have at least one item that needs shipping.
Payment Methods to Hide
Checked methods are hidden on matching carts. Place order uses the same rule, so a hidden method cannot be posted.

Reload Checkout When Cart Changes

If the cart changes in another tab, checkout can stay in sync. An empty form refreshes by itself. If the shopper already typed, a banner with a reload button is shown so their details are not lost.

How to configure

  1. Open FluentCart, then Toolbox, then Tools, then Checkout.
  2. Turn on Reload Checkout When Cart Changes.
  3. Set the reload message and button text, then save.

Settings

Reload Checkout When Cart Changes
If the shopper adds or removes items after checkout is open, totals stay in sync. An empty form reloads by itself.
Reload Message
Shown when the cart changed and the shopper already typed checkout details.
Reload Button Text
Label on the button in that banner. The default is Reload checkout.

URL Coupon Auto-Apply

Apply a coupon when a shopper opens a store link with ?coupon=CODE, such as yoursite.com/shop/?coupon=SAVE10. It works on shop, product, cart and checkout. If the cart is empty, the code is saved until they add a product. Instant checkout links that already use ?coupons= are left as they are. After a coupon is applied from a URL, you can hide the coupon entry field on checkout. Shoppers still see the applied code and can remove it.

How to configure

  1. Open FluentCart, then Toolbox, then Tools, then Checkout.
  2. Turn on URL Coupon Auto-Apply.
  3. Choose whether to hide the coupon field after a URL apply, then save.

Minimum Order Amount

Block checkout when the cart is below the amount you set. Apply it to all products, physical only, or digital only, or limit it to selected products, categories or brands. Show how much is still needed, exclude shipping from the total, and disable Place Order until the minimum is met.

  1. Open FluentCart, then Toolbox, then Tools, then Checkout.
  2. Turn on Minimum Order Amount.
  3. Set the amount, message, and who it applies to, then save.
