External Product
Replace Add to Cart and Buy Now with a custom link, button text, and an option to open in a new tab.
Enable External Product in Tools, then set the link on the product. Use one link for every variant, or set each variant on its own. The link shows on the shop, the product page, the View Options modal, and standalone buy buttons.
Replace Add to Cart and Buy Now with a custom link. Enable the tool, then open External Product on the product editor. Turn it on for the product or a variant, set a URL, button text, and whether the link opens in a new tab. Variants can share one link, or each variant can have its own. The link shows on the shop, the product page, the View Options modal, and standalone buy buttons.
How to configure
- Open FluentCart, then Toolbox, then Tools.
- Open External Product and turn on Enable External Product.
- On the product, open External Product, set the URL and button text, then save.
Settings
- Enable External Product
- Adds an External Product tab on the product editor. Turn a product or variant into a link with its own button text.
- Enable
- Turns the custom link on for that product or variant.
- URL
- Where the button sends the shopper.
- Button text
- The label on the button. The placeholder is Buy now.
- Open in a new tab
- Opens the link in a new browser tab.
- Use the same link, button text, and new tab for all variants
- One link for every variant. Turn this off to set each variant on its own.
