CartCubes Multi-step Checkout for FluentCart

Steps and Flow

Turn the add-on on, decide when Shipping appears, optionally merge billing with shipping, and add a Review confirmation step. Step labels can be renamed. The order stays fixed.

Settings holds General and Steps. Checkout fields and saved addresses stay in FluentCart. This plugin only groups those sections into a guided flow.

  • Master switch: Enable Multi-step Checkout. Off restores FluentCart's single-page checkout without deleting settings.
  • Shipping Auto, Always On or Always Off: Auto hides Shipping on digital-only carts unless Always Use 3 Steps is on (the default).
  • Merge billing and shipping: Combine Information and Shipping into one step labeled Billing & Shipping by default.
  • Optional Review: A read-only summary after Payment, with Edit links. Place Order and terms move to that last step.
  • Rename, do not reorder: Label and Sublabel per step. Information, Shipping, Payment and Review cannot be reordered or replaced with custom steps.

General

Enable Multi-step Checkout, Scroll to Top on Step Change and Remember Last Step all start on. Remember Last Step stores the index in localStorage as ccmsco_fc_checkout_step. Returning Customer Message starts off, with Message Text set to Welcome back! Your details may already be saved to your account.

Shipping step

Shipping Step radios: Auto (default), Always On, Always Off. When Auto is selected, Always Use 3 Steps is on by default so digital carts still see Information, Shipping and Payment. Empty Shipping Message defaults to Shipping is not required for this order. Continue to payment.

Merge billing and shipping

Merge Billing and Shipping starts off. When it is on, Information and Shipping combine into one step. Merged Billing and Shipping Label defaults to Billing & Shipping.

Review step and sublabels

Review Step starts off. When it is on, shoppers pick payment first, then confirm on a read-only Review step where Place Order appears. Review Edit Link Text defaults to Edit. Show Step Sublabels is on, with defaults: Information / Contact and billing details, Shipping / Address and delivery method, Payment / Pay and place your order, Review / Confirm your details.
